TRACY, CA– Congressional candidate Bob Elliott (R-CA10) announced a new group of key endorsements in his campaign for Congress.
Endorsing Elliott are San Joaquin County Supervisor Miguel Villapudua (District 1) and San Joaquin County Supervisor Tom Patti (District 3), as well as Escalon City Councilman Ed Alves.
“I am deeply honored to have the support of local community leaders who understand our district and the challenges we face,” said Elliott. “They recognize that we need a decisive and experienced voice in the House of Representatives to defend and strengthen the Valley’s economy and agricultural industry.”
Bob Elliott graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in the top 5% of his class and later earned a Master of Arts degree in National Security Affairs. He served our country for 30 years in the U.S. Army, and retired as a Colonel, U.S. Army Special Forces (the Green Berets).
Elliott subsequently served in the private sector with both General Electric and Westinghouse. He was elected to the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors in 2012 and reelected in 2016. He has led successful efforts to balance the county’s budget and has increased law enforcement funding – all without raising taxes.
