Escalon, CA– Today, Republican Bob Elliott announced receiving the endorsement of the Escalon Police Officers Association in his campaign to represent the 10th Congressional District.
In a letter from the Escalon Police Officers Association, President Gustavo Flores stated, “Mr. Elliott has served the country in the Army and served his community as a member of the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors. He has also shown support for law enforcement and the overall well-being of the community.”
In response to the announcement, COL Bob Elliott said, “I’m grateful to the Escalon Police Officers Association for recognizing my efforts and the value I place on supporting law enforcement. I understand the tremendous positive impact law enforcement has in the community. Supporting law enforcement is now more important than ever, as liberal extremists at the national level are supporting an anti-law enforcement message. It is my personal priority to stand up for the men and women who protect our neighborhoods and make sure they have the resources they need.”
The Escalon Police Officers Association is one of the latest in a long list of individuals and major organizations to announce their endorsement of Bob Elliott for Congress. Recently, COL Elliott also announced receiving the endorsements of the Nisei Farmers League, former Assemblyman Bill Berryhill, and many others. California’s 10th Congressional District is one of the most competitive and closely watched elections in the country. The district encompasses all of Stanislaus County and portions of San Joaquin County.
