Modesto, CA – – Over the weekend Charles Dossett announced his withdrawal from the CA10 campaign and endorsed Bob Elliott for Congress.
“Now, just like everyone else in the 10th district I have a choice of who to vote for. I will be voting for Bob Elliott. I, like Bob, was taught to value Duty, Honor, and Country. I know the people of the 10th District can count on Bob to do just that,” said Dossett, “I am proud to endorse Bob Elliott because the Central Valley needs his common-sense and conservative leadership.”
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Charles Dossett. I appreciate what Charles brought to this race, and look forward to his continued involvement in our community,” said Elliott.
Bob Elliott graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in the top 5% of his class and later earned a Master of Arts Degree in National Security Affairs. He served our country for 30 years in the U.S. Army, and retired as a Colonel, U.S. Army Special Forces (the Green Berets).
Elliott subsequently served in the private sector with both General Electric and Westinghouse. Bob was elected to the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors in 2012 and was reelected in 2016.
