Escalon, CA – – All five members of the Escalon City County, Mayor Robert Swift, Mayor Pro Tem Ed Alves, and Council Members Peter Krumeich, Jeff Laugero and Walt Murken, have endorsed Supervisor Bob Elliott for Congress in California’s battleground 10th District.
“I am greatly honored to have the support of all five members of the Escalon City Council,” said Elliott. “I have a strong working relationship with local elected officials throughout the Valley and look forward to continuing to build on those relationships as a member of Congress.”
Bob Elliott graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in the top 5% of his class and later earned a Master of Arts Degree in National Security Affairs. He served our country for 30 years in the U.S. Army, and retired as a Colonel, U.S. Army Special Forces (the Green Berets).
Elliott subsequently served in the private sector with both General Electric and Westinghouse. Bob was elected to the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors in 2012 and was reelected in 2016.
The 10th District is a swing district in California’s San Joaquin Valley, held by Republican Jeff Denham for many years until 2018.
